Mrs. Barbara Misiewicz is the Spanish and Technology teacher at Saint Ambrose School. She holds a dual B.A. Degree in Elementary Education and Spanish from Wilkes University, Wilkes Barre, PA., and is certified to teach grades K-8. She has taught in public school as an ASL teacher and Our Lady of Victories School for 21 years until coming to Saint Ambrose in September, 2022.
Mrs. Misiewicz teaches grades PreK-4 through 8th Grade. She tries to bring as much Spanish culture into the classroom as possible. She hopes the students have fun while learning a new language. She loves to see that self-confidence build up and put into practice when they use the language in class, or the students are able to use what they learned in class and talk to somebody in Spanish. In Technology, Mrs. Misiewicz teaches skills that include coding, typing, and project based learning.
Mrs. Misiewicz lives in Sayreville and is a parishioner and a Eucharistic Minister at Our Lady of Victories Church. She has two sons who attended Catholic Schools. Her hobbies are reading mystery books, watching NCIS, and traveling to Disney.
