Mrs. Gerardo has been a teacher since 2008 teaching almost all the grades over the course of her career. She joined St. Ambrose in September, 2025. She has spent the last two years of her career as a reading specialist for neurodivergent children, utilizing programs like Orton Gillingham and Barton. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in developmental childhood psychology.
It is Mrs. Gerardo’s teaching philosophy that every child learns differently, so differentiation in the classroom is essential to ensure every learner is reached. Mrs. Gerardo resides in Freehold with her husband and two children, who are part of the St. Ambrose family. In her free time she can be found in her kitchen, her happy place, cooking for family or at the beach, no matter the season!
